I have been in the financial industry for 28 years, both as a banker and investment advisor. The focus of my practice has been advising high net worth clients, closely held companies, and non-profits. My approach is holistic, helping my clients with the breadth and depth of advice needed to serve them and their successive generations.

Ron Uzdavinis is a lifelong resident of Woodbury, and for many years to the present has practiced law from his office in the City as well. He has served as a member of or attorney for a variety of nonprofit organizations over the years including the United Way of Gloucester County, the Greater Woodbury Chamber of Commerce and Trustee of the Gloucester County and New Jersey State Bar Associations. Since approximately 2012, he has served on the board of Main Street Woodbury Inc. where he shares with other board members a continuing interest in efforts to improve the appearance and viability of Woodbury’s commercial development in the heart of the city.

Mayor Peg Sickel was born and raised in Woodbury, N.J. She has a long history in business. Her entrepreneurial spirit has ranged from fashion to the automotive industry. Currently, Peg is President of Girls Nite Live, a women-centric company that offers opportunities for Women to highlight their services and businesses worldwide. Peg has served on numerous school and university boards. Doing both event creation, as well as fundraising and creating new programs for students. Her non-profit board experience is extensive. Her mantra has always been to make things better than she finds them. Whether it be a business, non-profit, or the City of Woodbury. Given her family’s long history in Woodbury, since the 1800s, she wants to see the city of Woodbury return to excellence. She believes the Main Street program is essential to that vision.

Mary Carter is a lifelong resident whose passion is to make our downtown a destination for those who live, work and shop in Woodbury. She is currently Main Street Secretary. Mary has been a Main Street volunteer for more than 20 years and previously served as a Member of the Board of Trustees, Secretary, Vice President, President, and Executive Director. She is a graduate of Woodbury High School and the Restaurant School of Philadelphia. Mary and her husband, John, have four children, all graduates of WHS, and five grandchildren. Mary has volunteered and supported many other local organizations, including Red Cross, WORC,FAF, the Road Runners Club of Woodbury, and WHS Soccer, Track and Band Parents.

Sandy’s entire career has been in Financial Services, focusing on all aspects of traditional and non-traditional institutional retirement, deferred compensation and equity plans with a solid record of developing and producing quality, profitable business; establishing, growing and maintaining positive client relationships; hiring and developing Sales, Relationship Management and Communication Consulting staff. Professional Experience includes 21 years at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, 2 years at Legg Mason Wood Walker Incorporated, 25 plus years at CIGNA Retirement and Investment Services. Sandy has been a Board member of Main Street Woodbury where she shares with other Board members a continuing interest in efforts to improve the appearance and viability of downtown Woodbury’s commercial district. She believes the Main Street program is essential to that vision. Sandy is also a Board member and Board Secretary for the United Way of Gloucester County, NJ.

Scott McCoy loves to grow. The continued need to expand his electrical engineering skills to tackle challenging projects and lead engineers is what keeps him interested in his work. Scott’s diligence and talent have helped clients like The Franklin Institute of Philadelphia, Merck Pharmaceutical, and Virgina Commonwealth University achieve their visions for safe and efficient systems. He has brought the same passion as the previous Treasure of The Woodbury Old City Restoration Committee, and now as the latest member of Main Street Woodbury.

Karl is the Business Education Chair and a board member at Mainstreet Woodbury Inc. He brings over two and a half decades of Restaurant Hospitality Executive expertise, excelling in strategic planning and financial management. Karl has a proven track record in steering successful ventures within the hospitality sector, demonstrating a keen ability to identify strategic opportunities and maximize financial performance. At Mainstreet Woodbury, he focuses on business education and development, driving growth and empowering local enterprises. His financial stewardship and commitment to people development reflect his dedication to professional excellence and community support. Karl’s visionary leadership and pragmatic decision-making embody the values of inclusivity and community engagement at Mainstreet Woodbury, positioning him to significantly impact the businesses and individuals he serves.

Though she has spent the last twenty years in Maine, Denise was born and raised in NJ and is thrilled to be back. Throughout her career, she has built a reputation for creating strong community partnerships, championing local businesses, and developing innovative programs that strengthen regional economies. Prior to joining Main Street Woodbury, Denise served 14 years as Executive Director of the Piscataquis Chamber of Commerce in Dover-Foxcroft, Maine, where she led strategic planning, tourism and relocation marketing initiatives, workforce development programs, business advocacy efforts, and large-scale regional events. During her tenure, she successfully launched youth leadership initiatives, expanded community engagement, strengthened relationships with local and state partners, and helped increase economic visibility for the region. Denise’s professional background also includes extensive experience in communications, public relations, and fundraising. A skilled public speaker and creative strategist, she is passionate about helping communities thrive through collaboration, innovation, and business growth. In addition to her corporate accomplishments, Denise is a professional photographer who enjoys capturing all of life’s most treasured moments. She has been happily married for 32 years, is the proud mother of two wonderful adult daughters, and loves spending time with her two dogs. Denise is excited to work alongside Woodbury’s business owners, residents, community partners, and local leaders to enrich the quality of life throughout the city while creating new opportunities for economic vitality, downtown development, and long-term business success.
