Meet the Main Street Woodbury, Inc. Board

The MSWI Board provides strategic guidance in the fulfillment of Main Street’s mission to promote the historic and economic redevelopment of downtown Woodbury.

Jenna Even

President

Jenna is a Woodbury resident who joined the Main Street Woodbury Board in 2019. She comes to the Board with a decade of involvement in non-profit meetings and events. Leaning into that experience she hopes to expand the fundraising efforts of the Board to further benefit those that work, shop, dine and live in Woodbury.

Gerald O'Connor

Vice President

I have been in the financial industry for 28 years, both as a banker and investment advisor. The focus of my practice has been advising high net worth clients, closely held companies, and non-profits. My approach is holistic, helping my clients with the breadth and depth of advice needed to serve them and their successive generations.

Mary Carter

Secretary

Mary is a lifelong resident whose passion is to make our downtown a destination for those who live, work and shop in Woodbury. She is currently Main Street Secretary. Mary has been a Main Street volunteer for more than 20 years and previously served as a Member of the Board of Trustees, Secretary, Vice President, President, and Executive Director. She is a graduate of Woodbury High School and the Restaurant School of Philadelphia. Mary and her husband, John, have four children, all graduates of WHS, and five grandchildren. Mary has volunteered and supported many other local organizations, including Red Cross, WORC,FAF, the Road Runners Club of Woodbury, and WHS Soccer, Track and Band Parents.

JOHN H. SHINDLE, ESQ

Treasurer

John is an attorney in Gloucester County who started his legal career at a firm in Woodbury in 2013. He practices primarily in Gloucester County and currently resides in Philadelphia. John has been a Board Member of Main Street Woodbury since 2019 and his law firm Ward, Shindle & Hall is a regular donor to Main Street Woodbury events and fundraisers.

Gwyndalin Glass

Neighborhood Preservation Coordinator for Woodbury

Gwyn believes that ideas come to life to make positive changes in your community with planning, hard work and determination. For over five years, Gwyn owned her own small business in Pitman, NJ. She was on the Economic Development Committee and The Greater Pitman Chamber of Commerce where she held the Vice President position. She started Laurel Market and The Sweetest Night in Pitman and was on many committees including PPF, The Witches of Pitman, and The Bob Riccio Memorial Bike Race and Block Party to name a few. She is passionate about helping small businesses succeed and thrive.

Trustees

Ronald Uzdavinis Esq.

Ron Uzdavinis is a lifelong resident of Woodbury, and for many years to the present has practiced law from his offices in the City as well. He has served as a member of or attorney for a variety of nonprofit organizations including the United Way of Gloucester County and Greater Woodbury Chamber of Commerce. Since approximately 2012, he has served on the board of Main Street Woodbury Inc. where he shares with other board members a concerted interest in efforts to improve the appearance and viability of Woodbury’s commercial development in the heart of the city.

Chip Holston

Chip first joined the Main Street board in 2019. He currently works at Morgan Stanley Wealth Management in Mt. laurel, NJ partnering with Gerald O’Connor, who is also a Woodbury Main Street board member. Having grown up in Woodbury NJ, and attended Woodbury High School, Chip found it important to join the board to give back to the community and to make it a better place for current and future residents.

Thomas Wetzel

Thomas has been a resident of Woodbury since 2013 and joined the Main Street board in 2021. Thomas has enthusiastically joined the Board alongside his wife, Jenna, current Main Street Board President. Having grown up in a neighboring town to Woodbury and attended St. Patrick’s School (now Holy Angels), Thomas found Woodbury a wonderful place to call home and embraces the mission to promote and support the downtown.

Jennifer Maurer

Born and raised in Woodbury, co-owner of Edward’s Hairstyling, Board Member since 2022, Ghost Tours enthusiast!

Mayor Peg Sickel

Mayor Peg Sickel was born and raised in Woodbury, N.J. She has a long history in business. Her entrepreneurial spirit has ranged from fashion to the automotive industry. Currently, Peg is President of Girls Nite Live, a women-centric company that offers opportunities for Women to highlight their services and businesses worldwide. Peg has served on numerous school and university boards. Doing both event creation, as well as fundraising and creating new programs for students. Her non-profit board experience is extensive. Her mantra has always been to make things better than she finds them. Whether it be a business, non-profit, or the City of Woodbury. Given her family's long history in Woodbury, since the 1800s, she wants to see the city of Woodbury return to excellence. She believes the Main Street program is essential to that vision.
